A red variety, very few of whose plants are found here and there in some vineyards in Velvendos.
This is a vigorous, prolific variety with an average yield and is susceptible to oidium.
Its ampelographic properties resemble those of varieties of foreign origin, such as the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It ripens in the first two weeks of September.
